Our mission has several objectives besides making it a fun family event. All profits from the Carnival will be go to the nominated charity which for the 2011 event. The nominated charity for 2012 is the RNLI (Thames division) which saves hundrends of lives each year; Previous nominated charities where, MIND in Croydon, Croydon Carers Centre and Home Start, but provisions also will be made to provide something for the young in the area. which we hope will generate and promote events and programs to cater for the creative, educational and sporting needs of young people in the area. The other main objective it to generate community and social awareness whilst developing a better local environment for both residential and business alike.

The Croydon Lions who are the main organisers of the event but will actively encourage individuals, groups and businesses to be involved in all aspects of this event. It is hoped the carnival will become the premier event over the fothcoming years and provide much needed regeneration for the area. The Lion's are always looking for volunteers to assist in anyway so if you are interested then please contact Pat Carpenter.
